Cité de l'espace
The Cité de l'espace is a science and culture center devoted to space exploration and the conquest of space, equally dedicated to astronomy and astronautics. Located in Toulouse, the Cité de l'espace opened in June 1997. Created on the initiative of Toulouse's city government with the participation of numerous partners—including the Midi-Pyrénées regional council, the ministries of Infrastructure, Transportation, Defense, National Education, Research and Technology, the National Center for Space Studies (CNES), Météo-France, and EADS Astrium, among others.
